Danlin Capillary Division
Danlin Capillary provides innovative solutions to downhole chemical treating problems through the installation of permanent concentric capillary tubing strings.
Danlin Capillary provides services from ¼” OD to 5/8” OD concentric or eccentric installations. Danlin offers a wide range of alloys from 316L, Duplex 2205, 825 Incalloy and 625 Inconel. Danlin offers self contained equipment capable of operating on limited footprint locations such as jack up boats, barges, or platforms. Danlin Capillary also offers services such as spooling, pneumatic banding, centralization tools, high pressure pumping/purging, welding, annealing, and x-ray certification.

Applications
Liquid Loading: Foaming agents reduce density and increase surface area of produced fluids in a flow path resulting in decreased critical velocity. This results in a continuous unloading of fluids from the wellbore, lowering the formation pressure and maximizing production. Capillary injection of foamers provide proven alternative to plunger lift, gas lift, beam pumps, velocity strings, etc. With varying degrees of success. The capillary tubing system provides chemical delivery at the most effective depths of the well to maximize effectiveness of chemical foamer. By achieving placement at the source, not only applying foam at the optimum turbulence point but at the depth of the fluid inflow below the packer or end of tubing. When installed concentrically the capillary also acts as a velocity “dead string,” lowering the minimum critical velocity with minimal annular friction caused by material drag and jointed upsets.
Salt Accumulation: This common problem can decrease or halt production requiring batch treating, wireline broaching, coiled tubing jetting, or workover, all resulting in lost production and expensive intervention. The capillary siphoning system allows fresh water to be continuously applied at or below the source of the salt deposits. The continuous treatment prevents further build up or plugging of tubulars, eliminating shut in time and increasing production.
Corrosion and Scale Treatment: Tubular failure or loss due to corrosion or scale is an industry wide problem. Capillary injection provides an effective method for downhole delivery of corrosion inhibitors and/or scale inhibitors achieving TD to surface application with assured placement of chemicals to trouble spots in the tubular.
Paraffin Plugging: Capillary injection provides clean chemical placement at point of optimum effectiveness eliminating paraffin plugging and increased efficiency by reducing excessive chemical treatments resulting from batch treatments. Capillary can also be eccentrically handed to the tubing in applications with rod pumps, PCP, ESP’s, and Plunger Lift.
Other Applications:
- H2S Scavenger
- Emulsions
- Hydrates Freezing
- Enhance submersible pump efficiency
- Pressure Monitoring
- Gas Lift
Candidate Selection
At Danlin Capillary, our goal is the success of our customer’s capillary systems. Each installation is engineered to maximize results. We offer well analysis to determine candidates utilizing the Coleman Equation, production history, and individual chemical compatibility.
Metallurgy Selection
Understanding the effects of temperature, chlorides, pH of fluids (both injected and produced) on CRA’s (corrosion resistant alloys) is critical in the selection process. Also analyzing the effects of corrosive gases such as H2S, CO², and oxygen in combination with produced fluids, temperatures, and pressure is necessary to provide sufficient alloys to prevent tube corrosion.
Danlin Capillary prides itself as the premier supplier of capillary injection services by training and retention of the most experienced and knowledgeable personnel in the industry. Danlin Capillary provides the most advanced and well maintained equipment, and will meet or exceed the most stringent safety requirements in the industry. Our personnel strive for success by forming partnerships with our customers, and ensuring that our customers are provided the best service possible.
Danlin Capillary is strategically located in Oklahoma, East Texas, West Texas and South Texas and provides all non-region specific equipment capable of performing in any condition with climate controlled operator cabins, winterized power units, hydraulic systems, and vehicles. Danlin Capillary will work with customers to offer services in any domestic region with minimal notice and without excessive transportation charges.
