Danlin Chemical supplies a complete line of specialty performance products and services designed to meet our customers needs associated with production, processing, and transporting oil and gas.

Danlin’s strengths lies in surpassing customer expectations through chemical innovations, technical competence of staff, laboratory improvements, building long term business and personal relationships with our customers, and offering customer training.

Corrosion Inhibitors

Corrosion Inhibitors control corrosion in oil and gas production, flow lines, pipelines, surface equipment, and water disposal and injection systems. The inhibitors are oil soluble, oil soluble-water dispersible, and water soluble which are formulated to prevent damage due to hydrogen sulfide, carbon dioxide, organic acids, and other waste borne corrosive agents. Neutralizing agents are included in this group.

Scale Control Chemicals

Scale Control Chemicals are chemicals that consist of inorganic and organic acids, organic chelating and sequestering agents, and threshold inhibitors. Scale inhibitors inhibit the formation of mineral scale from produced waters. They are predominately water soluble but oil soluble products are also in use. In order to perform efficiently the scale inhibitor must be present continuously prior to scale formation. The products range from inorganic phosphates to terpolymers. Scale dissolvers can vary from acids and alkaline materials to organic chelating agents. Efficiency of the dissolvers depends upon contact time, temperature, pressure, and agitation.

Microbiocides

Microbiocides inhibit microorganisms in oilfield systems. Bacteria (sulfate reducing bacteria {SRB’s} and acid producing bacteria {APB}) can result in microbial induced corrosion, solids formation, hydrogen sulfide production, acid production, and formation plugging. Danlin offers registered microbiocides in compliance with Federal and State laws.

Paraffin Control Agents

These include solvents, dispersants (including detergents and pentrants), pour point depressants, and inhibitors are designed to control troublesome paraffin deposition. Solvents (aromatic hydrocarbons, aliphatic hydrocarbons, terpenes, carbon disulfide, and combinations thereof) are generally used to solubilize (remove) paraffin (waxes) deposits. Oil soluble dispersants are used to keep paraffin crystals in the oil so that they do not agglomerate and stick to pipe surfaces. Detergents may be designed to water wet surfaces (pipe) so that waxes do not stick and can also disperse the paraffin into water. Detergents are often used in hot water treatments to remove wax and prevent its re-deposition. Pour point depressants are used to lower the congealing point of the oil and/or allow the oil to maintain pumpability at temperatures where it would normally become to thick to pump. Inhibitors must be applied at temperatures above the cloud point of the oil (the point where the crystal initially forms) and most function by disrupting the paraffin crystal growth.

Foamers

Foamers may be anionic, cationic, and nonionic in nature. Foamers are normally used in gas wells to help remove wellbore fluids which restrict the gas inflow and production. Water accumulation in the well-bore increases the back pressure on the producing zone resulting in a restriction of gas glow. Foamers can also be used to drill wells and clean out wells.

Defoamers/Antifoams

Defoamers/Antifoams may be oil or water soluble. Defoamer chemistry is varied and includes silicones, alcohols, phosphate esters and other organic materials. Defoamers are used to get rid of an existing foam problem while antifoams are used to prevent a potential foaming problem from erupting.

Surfactants/Cleaning/Wetting Products

hese products are used for filter backwash aids, solids wetting, and hydrocarbon removal from solids like iron sulfide. These products include anionic, cationic, and nonionic materials. They may be water or oil soluble.

Scavenger Products

Danlin offers oxygen scavengers to remove oxygen from water handling systems; hydrogen sulfide scavengers for gas, water, and hydrocarbon systems: Carbon dioxide scavengers for gas systems.

Water Clarifiers

A water clarifier is used to improve water quality through removal of hydrocarbon (oil) and solids (iron sulfide, iron oxide, etc.)

Hydrate Inhibitor

Hydrate Inhibitors are products used to prevent water and methane hydrate formation at low use rates providing better control than conventional methanol treatments and economic savings.

Specialty Chemicals

Specialty Chemicals such as Mutual Solvents, Salt Inhibitors, Drag Reducers, and Shale Stabilizers are some of the products that are available.
