Safety and Regulatory

Danlin has a training and conference area that is used to provide our personnel and our customer’s with continuous training. We strive to maintain the “safety first” attitude in all we do, and to perform all our duties abiding by each customers safety regulations and rules. Danlin has a full time safety and regulatory officer that conducts monthly safety meetings, and holds certificates from the National Safety Council, Oklahoma Safety Council, Oklahoma Independent Petroleum Association, Accurate Safety Compliance Company, and Paradigm EHS Consulting Group. He also performs audits on the Danlin warehouse and trucks for OSHA/DOT/IFTA compliance, and participates in the IS Networld and PEC Premier websites for safety training documentation.

Danlin provides all safety equipment to our employees and ensures that all know how to properly wear and use it. Danlin uses an independent environmental consultant service company to insure that we are in compliance with all the federal and state regulations.

In-House Schools

Danlin puts on two schools per year for improving the sales and service personnel’s oilfield understanding and ability to provide our customer the best problem solving and service available. Danlin has put together their training manual which every sales person and data tech receives.

Danlin uses NACE publications “Forms of Corrosion Recognition and Prevention,” Oilfield Water Technology; UT’s Petroleum Extension Service books: “Introduction to the Oil Pipeline Industry,” “Treating Oil Field Emulsions,” “A Primer of Offshore Operations,” “Field Guide for Investigating Internal Corrosion of Pipelines,” and “Lessons in Well Servicing and Work over” home study course for addition reference materials.

Out-Side Schools/Courses

In addition, Danlin sends select personnel to outside courses to improve our technical abilities. As examples, our employees have attended:

  • NACE International courses (Basic Corrosion and Internal Corrosion for Pipelines) and/or the OU Corrosion Short Course
  • Professional course by the American Chemical Society for Gas Chromatography to improve their abilities
  • Perkin-Elmers course on Inductive coupled Plasma Spectroscopy to ensure our ability to provide the best analytical results to our customer’s
  • Sixteen employees have received NCCER pipeline operator qualification for internal corrosion and validation through the Central Technology Center at Drumright, Oklahoma.

Customer Schools

Danlin will provide training in various subjects (corrosion, scale, paraffin, water treating, etc.) upon request.
